| August 7, 2024 -- We here at Killingly Grange are really feeling the heat. What a hot summer!! But it doesn’t stop us from painting our building and cleaning up the yard. We have some members that go nonstop especially the members that are farmers that are busy haying. We are looking forward to our annual picnic for our members and their guests on 7/15/24. We will supply the hamburgers and hot dogs. It is potluck so you can only imagine the variety of dishes that we will eating.
We are still on target for our upcoming events: July 26 will be our chicken barbeque along with the meal we will be selling homemade blueberries pies (made by our own members), on August 10 we will have Leon’s famous chowder and clam cakes, our annual fair will be August 16,17; Lasagna dinner on September 21; October 19 a full course turkey dinner; then on November 16 Leon will again be serving his delicious chowder and clam cakes.
Let’s not forget December when Santa comes to visit us. I promise it will be cooler! Maybe a good old fashion white Christmas!!!
