| AUGUST 2, 2024 -- Aug. 4: Awards Night
Aug. 28: Friendship Night Summer is upon us and we are
preparing for the annual Grange Fair to be held on August 6 in conjunction with the buy local community event. We continue to prepare the hall for the use of other groups. At the June meeting we held a ice cream social to celebrate National Ice Cream month. We held our election and added Herb Corttis as Steward and Danielle Duquette as Chaplain. We had a discussion regarding the dues structure. We also welcomed long time member Norma O’Leary to join us.
Our Neighbors Night meeting was well attended with members from Killingly, Dudley and others from the CSG. We thank them all for their help in our SWOT group discussion- Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunity and Threats- in reference to the Grange today. Thanks to Amy for organizing this very important group discussion. Our annual baking contest was judged, and we had 4 entries. We also had a show-and-tell where members discussed their handiwork and travel adventures. It is always great to see members from other Granges. We always welcome visitors.
