Around The Grange
Sep News from Beacon Valley Grange No. 103

By Joanne Cipriano

  SEPTEMBER 10, 2024 --

Looking forward to writing this article for the Granger, I was going to tell you what a nice picnic we had. Juicy hamburgers and hot dogs were to compliment the potluck supper. Unfortunately, the weatherman had a different plan. It poured all day with high winds and storm warnings. We planned to try again on the following Friday.

We have some new items for our next tag sale which we have the third Saturday of each month. Lots of fall supplies. Canning jars, baskets, an apple picker and a good supply of large cooking pots including a lobster pot. Next sale, September 21st from 9 to 3. Open mic the same day from 2 to 5. Come and be entertained or if you would like to display your talent that’s even better. Variety being the spice of life we welcome all kinds of entertainment.

Our next meeting is September 13th. Marilyn Maxwell will be in the charge of the program “Dragon Fruit” and will also serve the refreshments. We will host the meeting of

Nutmeg Pomona on Sunday, September 22nd.
