Note: Refreshments and Social time at 7pm with Meeting at 7:30pm At our August meeting after we received Todd’s request for our Program Schedule for the Pomona

booklet, we changed the Lecturer’s program from “Travels” to “Program Book”. It turned into a fun program led by Debbie Hanlon. In our Grange instead of the Lecturer doing all the programs each person picks a month and title for their program and a month for their being on refreshments. This brought our true Grange volunteerism. It was wonderful to see the cooperation and ideas along with lots of laughter as we filled in the program/refreshment template for the 2024-2025 year.

We had a small but lively crowd at our August Square/Contra dance and welcomed some new people into our Grange Hall. We look forward to our Thank You Lunch for Granges and Grangers who donated when the tree fell on our roof. On the same day, August 17th, after the Lunch we are lending the use of our Hall for a contra dance at 6pm. Also, we are getting ready for our booth at the Cornwall Agricultural Fair on Saturday, September 14th. It is held on the Cornwall town green (Pine Street) from 10-4pm. It is a wonderful day to come down and visit us there. We are now soliciting donations from shops to make up baskets for our free raffle. This brings people into our tent where we talk about what our Grange is doing this year. I hope to see your there.
